Color. It screams at you, it whispers to you, it hits your eyes like a baseball bat, or it strokes your eyelids like a gentle breeze. It is all around us, everything we look at has color, sometimes meant to attract us, sometimes meant to repel us (think of butterflies whose color means poison to many animals). The most common object made unusual by its color. Color blends, or stands out, it shocks, it tames, it is what makes the world so interesting.
